about byakuya: appearance
traditionally beautiful
First off, one should note the fancy headpiece and scarf adorning our favorite noble. The "noodles", as his fandom sometimes calls them, are actually called kenseikan, and symbolize his noble rank as the head of the Kuchiki family. His scarf (actually a very pale, mint green-ish color - NOT WHITE) was made by the master weaver, Tsujishirou Kuroemon III. The scarf is called ginpaku kazahana no uzuginu (literally silver-white windflower light silk), and is a family heirloom handed down through the generations to the head of the Kuchiki family. Ten large houses can be built from the cost of just one of these - and it's snazzy, to boot. ;3Other than that, Byakuya's pretty usual - and by pretty usual, I mean pretty. And handsome. No denying he's one of the more bishonen characters of Bleach and certainly one of the most attractive (the most attractive in many ways, in my honest opinion). He wears the typical shinigami uniform and ontop of that, the white haori symbolizing his rank as a captain, sans sleeves, as some captains opt to do. A few details aside from that - he's not a big guy, but certainly is quite toned and muscled despite being rather lean. He's also rather pale, the traditional definition of Japanese beauty.

Note the pretty, long black hair. His eyes almost appear violet here, but they change from that darker shade to blue, grey, or even a mix of the two.

Here, they are their usual blue-grey.

Byakuya with his hair down!

And last, Byakuya in more noble dress. Do enjoy!
