symptom of synesthesia
ah, yes. a combination of Kubo's eclectic taste in music and the interesting image songs that were created for and sung by the Bleach cast. I provide lyrics and translations when possible, though I can't say as much when it comes to the Bleach B Stations.
If, anyone can donate to this section, with translations or what not... please e-mail me!
All of these songs/radio rips were downloaded from 1) Limewire and 2) Bleach Exile. All lyrics were found at Bleach Web or Chichiri's Guide to Bleach. Please delete these files after 24 hours; I know you won't, but I have to say this for copyright purposes.
Kubo assigns themes to each and every one of his characters.
Byakuya's is Je Chante Pour Passer Le Temps by Giovanni Mirabassi. This is an instrumental piece of jazz piano that starts off soft and light and builds to a sturdy crescendo. It's a very good reflection of Byakuya, as it says quite a bit without words and, to mirror his actions in Bleach, it starts off as something subtle, to a firm, obvious force. Renji's, alternatively, is Stray Dog (Norainu) by HAZU featuring Ill-Bosstino. It's grungy, odd rap, really; at least, that's what it feels like in a way. It's... well. Hard to describe. It fits Renji, with all of his eccentric, conflicting personality traits. Just give it a listen by clicking here. Lyrics can be found here.
